Safari Digital is the creation of Liam Ridings, Safari’s founder, and SEO lead. With a background in copywriting and various website ventures, Liam quickly learned the value of search engine optimisation in attracting visitors to his website.
In 2016, Liam took a client-side marketing role to learn the ropes and find out as much about the end-to-end digital marketing process as possible. After seeing the work carried out by a number of external marketing agencies, Liam decided that he had seen enough, and it was time to create something better.
While on a sabbatical from work and travelling Europe, Liam set up the Safari Digital website and got to work learning everything about the SEO industry, how it operated, and how to position Safari Digital at the top of the search rankings to attract prospective clients. With a limited budget and nothing but time to spare, Liam had to be figure out how to implement on-site and off-site strategies that would position Safari Digital at the top of Google for relevant SEO search terms. It took 9-months, but in May 2020 Safari Digital was everywhere on Google. Quickly, Safari started to grow and scale as more and more clients came on board and the referrals started to flood in from happy clients.
Now, in less than two years Safari has grown to 8 staff and worked with hundreds of different companies across Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
