Breanna Golub

Breanna Golub is the account director at Safari Digital SEO Agency.

Breanna joined Safari Digital as employee number one back in 2018. Whilst not a natural transition, Breanna joined Safari Digital after a brief foray into the world of nursing. Quickly deciding that, that role wasn’t for her, she started with Safari Digital as an SEO copywriter where she learned the fundamentals of SEO and slowly worked her way to the head of SEO content at Safari Digital over a period of four years. During that time, Breanna worked across more than 200 different brands writing thousands of blogs and landing pages that contributed to the growth of countless brands in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Singapore.

Today, Breanna Golub is the account director at Safari Digital overseeing all client communication. She is a familiar and friendly face to almost all Safari Digital clients. Breanna has an acute understanding of on-page SEO, content, and technical SEO with a passion for fuelling SEO growth through strategic content.

Quick Fire Q&A with Breanna Golub

Q. What’s your favourite thing about SEO?

My favourite thing about SEO is that it rewards patience and long-term growth. There’s nothing better than having a breakthrough on a site after months of working on building new content/the site. As someone that thrives under discipline and playing the long game, I love that SEO weeds out those who don’t have the patience to stick to something for a long time.

Q. Where do you see the industry heading over the next few years?

In some ways, it feels like AI has turned SEO on its head over the last two years. However, there’s a growing realisation that sure, you can use AI to expedite tasks and increase productivity, but the websites that are being continually rewarded in 2026 are those that are creative, authentic (I use that word begrudgingly), and unique. I see the industry continue to move in this direction – there will always be a lot of AI noise, but sustainable SEO will inherently be steeped in good (human) content, real case studies, and a genuine business proposition to offer customers. Faceless businesses will not cut it.

Q. What advice would you give your younger self starting out in SEO?

Become a good problem solver. This extends to both SEO and life. Once you can figure out how to do things yourself – whether it’s an excel equation or working across different CMS platforms – the world is your oyster. In SEO, that means rather than reading SEO LinkedIn theoretical posts, it’s doing the work yourself; testing out content and on-page SEO elements, and seeing what sticks.
